The sage green kitchen
Sage-green units and an oak worktop, planned in 3D before a single unit was fitted.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia
French elegance. A home that feels like you.
Shaped around your life and your budget — with careful sourcing, and new life for the pieces you already own.

Selected work
Valerie is establishing her practice in Phnom Penh. The work below was completed in France — every image is labelled for what it is, and a 3D view is never shown as a finished room.
About Valerie Salvador

Design is about transformation, courage and renewal.
Valerie Salvador is certified in France and moved to Cambodia to build her practice here. She sold her belongings to make the move — which is part of why she designs the way she does: carefully, with a clear head about what a space really needs and what it does not.
Her work combines French proportion and restraint with the materials and craft of Phnom Penh.
She believes a considered interior should not be reserved for large budgets, and most of her decisions are about spending well rather than spending more.
She works directly with every client, from the first conversation to the last delivery.
Upcycling
The piece you already own is usually the best one.
About the upcycling workshops

Her promise
To understand the vision before proposing anything — how you actually live in the space, not how it should photograph.
The figure is agreed before design begins. Every decision after that is made against it, and if something cannot be done within it, she says so.
Interiors that feel like yours to live in, rather than rooms that have been decorated at.

Services
Three services, from a single consultation to the whole project. Upcycling workshops are being planned.
One conversation in your space, and a written summary of what to keep, restore and source.
A design proposal — with 3D views where they help — then the furniture, materials and finishes selected and found for it.
Concept through to completion, with the scope and its boundaries agreed in writing first.
How it works
Tell Valerie about the space and what is not working. A few lines are enough.
She visits the space, or meets you online. You agree what the project covers and what the budget is.
A proposal, then the finding: what to keep, what to restore, what to buy and where from.
The work is installed and walked through with you. Anything outstanding is written down.
Fees for design work are agreed separately from the cost of purchases and any contractors. Everything is confirmed in writing before work begins.
“Valerie respected our budget yet delivered a home that feels luxurious.”
Honest answers
Often, yes. A sound frame, good timber or solid hardware is usually worth restoring, and that is one of the parts of the work Valerie enjoys most.
Yes. A single room or one consultation is a legitimate starting point, and plenty of projects grow from there.
Phnom Penh is the base, and Siem Reap is within reach. Anywhere further is possible but needs to be discussed — travel and time are agreed separately before anything is booked.
A few lines about the room and what is not working is enough to start. She reads and answers every enquiry personally.
